On 3rd December 2009, we staged a Playback Theatre performance for a group of women employees of Intel. The performance was a complete hit with the audience. The audience members got into the groove of things immediately and happily shared their real life stories which was the material for the performances.
This instinctive & very intuitive theatre performance celebrated their successes, their conflicts, their choices, their younger days and their sensitivity. For performers it was an eye opener to see different perspectives emerge before them. When the performance was first planned the organisers only wanted a forum where the audience members could express them freely. They shared that here the response was beyond what they had expected and for the performers it was yet another moment to cherish.

Hi, I know this is not the place to post this but I couldn’t find any other way to contact the authors of this blog. I have a friend who is interested in taking up theatre classes (English only) in Bangalore, as a hobby while she is studying. Do you know of any groups or schools where this is possible? Thanks.

Hi I am Jen Kristel. I am coming to Chennai in October to teach Playback at Madras University. I have worked with Cyril Alexander and his company on my last trip and am working with Ranji David in Bangalore this coming October. I am just wondering what you are working on and if you want to make connection in some way while I am in India (September 25-October 21)
Thank you!
I look forward to hearing from you
Jen
